Why Do I Want To Go?
I want to go to college because it will give me a better opportunity in life. In order to succeed college is a big step. I will be the first sibling in my family to go to college and i want to make my parents proud. My parents put a lot of time and effort into helping me with my education and i believe it'd be a great gift to give them as me going to college. I want to go to college and set a good example for my younger sibling. I want to go somewhere in life and by doing so i will be going to college and get the education i need and deserve.

Final: Part 1
Final: Part 1
1. Things I liked
about this class was having the opportunity to learn about new jobs I can do
when I grow up. Also, I liked reading the quotes of people.
2. What I did
not like about this class was how I was moved seats a lot of the times. I also didn’t
like the typing tutor even though I knew it would make me a better typer.
3. I don’t
really have any recommendations for improving the class because I thinks that
the class is fine the way it is.
4. I honestly did do my best in this class
because I really enjoyed it.
5. I am reading my life planning notebook, and
every time I read it I add another goal.
6. I am committed to be a CTR person because I want
to do good and spread goodness around the world.
7. Something I will always remember about this
class is the amazing work I’ve done because I’ve learned so much from it. I
will also remember what it is to be a CTR person.

“A man without a goal is like a ship
without a rudder.”
Thomas Carlyle
Reflection:
If you do not have a goal, it is like not having a sense of direction.
You have nothing to guide you. Your goal is what guides you, it is what you look
forward to. The goal you set for yourself is the goal yo are determined to
reach.

If there is beauty in character, there
will be harmony in the home. If there is harmony in the home, there will be order
in the nation, if there is order in the nation, there will be peace in the
world.
Conclusion:
If there is beauty in character, there
will be peace in the world.
Chinese
Proverb.
Reflection:
I believe that this Chinese proverb is correct, because without beauty or
peace, there is nothing in the world. Peace in this world is what is more
important, and from beauty comes peace.
Character Counts
Character Counts
“The Six Pillars of Character”
1. Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness,
Caring, and Citizenship.
2. Trustworthiness: Be honest. Do what you say you’ll do.
Have the courage to do the right thing. Ex) If you see someone trying to steal
something from the store, you go to the store manager and tell them right away.
Respect: Treat others with respect. Use good manners, not bad
language. Ex) if you are speaking with your mother, speak to her with respect
and do not use bad language.
Responsibility: Do what you are supposed to do. Plan ahead.
Use self-control. Ex) If you are assigned an assignment and it is do next week,
do it ahead of time.
Fairness: Play by the rules. Take turns and share. Be open
minded; listen to others ideas. Ex) if you are playing a board game with
friends, do not cheat and play fair.
Caring: Be kind. Be compassionate and show you care. Express
gratitude. Forgive others. Ex) Be nice to your mother and father.
Citizenship: Cooperate. Get involved in community affairs.
Stay informed. Vote. Be a good neighbor. Ex) Clean up the streets in your community.
Reflection: I think that the six pillars are very important
because people should really know about this. This is a very helpful idea that
can make our way of living a lot better if everyone followed it. I am committed
to share these six pillars by expressing kindness and honesty and citizenship.

“I would prefer
even to fail with honor than win by cheating.”
Sophocles
Reflection:
It is best to fail on something that you did correctly, than to win
something that you cheated on. Wining is usually great when it is done
honestly, but when you try to cheat in order to win, then you did not win
honestly, not only did you cheat, but you also cheated on yourself. Losing isn’t
always a bad thing, especially when you tried so hard to win, but instead of
cheating you decided to be honest even if it caused you to lose.
Memorial Day
Memorial Day
Monday May 25
1. Memorial Day
is a day on which those who died in active military service are remembered,
traditionally observed on May 30 but now officially observed on the last Monday
in May.
2. The purpose
of Memorial Day is to honor those who serve or have served for our country, and
for the good they’ve done. We are very proud of them and love them and respect
them very much.
3. Memorial
Day is on the last Monday of May.
4. Some ways
to show honor and respect on this day is simply putting up your American flag.
This year I will celebrate Memorial
Day with my family and cousins. My cousin is participating in the U.S. army, so
we will all be celebrating with her at home and thanking her for what she’s
done for us and our country.

wrong.”
Wilford Woodruff

Reflection: I agree with him because I believe that he is right. When
you do something that is bad and or wrong, nothing good will come out of it. If
you help someone do something that is bad, then you are just as much involved
and going to be punished as they are. It doesn’t matter if you weren’t the one
who thought of that bad idea, but if you participate in it then nothing good
will come your way.

I have achieved many of my goals. The most I've achieved is 26 out of 100. I am proud to be able to say that because by achieving these goals i have learned many new things. I see many things a lot different from when i used to. I am a lot happier and a bit more satisfied because of the goals I've accomplished. One of my favorite goals that i have accomplished is helping out the homeless. By accomplishing that goal i have realized that there are so many people out there that are good and need help. Many of the people i helped were very kindhearted and nothing but nice to me. Another one of the goals that i accomplished and am very proud of, was making my parents proud of me.

Summary
Sara made a homerun in
baseball for the first and last time. It was her last game when she made that
homerun. She ran, and while running she hurt herself and fell to the ground. She
tried crawling to home base but then two girls from the opposing team carried
her to home base. This made me feel happy because it is nice to know that there
are still good people out there willing to do the right thing. If I were to be
in a situation like that, I would help out. I would never just sit around and
watch the person suffer for what is right, I would help out because I want to
do what is right.

Aging
Aging
There are many ways people can age a lot faster. People may
not know this, but aging doesn’t just come with you getting older but with what
you put and or do with your body. Smoking is bad for your health and can cause
you to age quicker. Smoking can activate enzymes that break down the elasticity
of your skin. Crash dieting can be a long-term threat. It can make you feel
older my reducing your energy level. Not getting enough sleep is another big
problem. It can keep you from functioning well during the day. It can also lead
to wait gain. When skipping your fruits and veggies you do not get the
nutrients you need for your skin and face. Holding grudges can cause you to get
wrinkles and lead to bad health problems. Letting go of stress can help you
avoid cognitive impairment and keep your mind young. Drinking alcohol is not
good when you get older because it doubles up and you begin to age a lot
quicker.

“True
Independence and
freedom can only
exist in doing
what’s right.”
Brigham Young
Reflection:
What I think he means by this is that if you want freedom and
independence in life, you have to be willing to do what is right. Doing what is
right can get you a lot more things than you thought possible. No one will want
to remember you as the person who did wrong all their life. They’ll want to be
able to say that you were the one that always did the right thing no matter
what other people thought and said about it.
An example of doing something wrong and losing your freedom
is when you steal something or use drugs and get put into prison. Getting put
into prison is losing your freedom because you are now locked up forever.
An example of doing something right and gaining your freedom
and independence is studying hard in school and getting into a great
university. That is doing what is right and being independent because you are
now on your own making your own money and doing your own things.
