Duties and Responsibilities: They  administer hearing or speech/language evaluations, tests, or examinations to patients to collect information on type and degree of impairment, using specialized instruments and electronic equipment.

Salary: $69,720

Education: The audiologist employees must at least have a masters degree in field. And some may prefer or require applicants to possess a doctorate.

Reflection: I would want to be an audiologist, because I like to study how the ear works and what there is to it.

Reflection: What I think he means by this is that don’t let what you do for a living define who you really are. Education: the minimum requirements for most athletic trainer position is a bachelor’s degree

 

 

 

 

 

 

Reflection: I would like to be one, because I’d like to help athletes on or off the field when injured.

Reflection: I think it means that my past does not define me. What I do in the present is what matters. No matter what I did in my past, does not show me what my potential is.

Anesthesiologist

Anesthesiologist

Duties and Responsibilities: Anesthesiologists are the physicians trained to administer and manage anesthesia given during a surgical procedure. They are also responsible for managing and treating changes in your critical life functions - breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure - as they are affected by the surgery being performed

Salary: Less than $348,831

Education: Even before entering college, those interested in a career in anesthesiology need to think about the kinds of classes taken in high school. Classes with a math and science concentration certainly go a long way in preparing a future anesthesiologist for success in college and medical school.
As with other physician specialties, all future anesthesiologists need to attend a four-year undergraduate program and most will enroll in a pre-medicine or another science-concentrated program, though it is not required.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Reflection: I would honestly like to become an anesthesiologist, mainly because I think it is interesting.

Duties and Responsibilities: Ambulance dispatchers answer phone calls from people in need of urgent or medical help. Dispatchers usually need to try to maintain contact with a caller while using a computerized dispatch system to relay pertinent information to the appropriate agencies.

Salary: $36,300 per year, $17.45 per hour
