“What you see is what you get”
Anonymous

Reflection: I think this means that you can not be anything more than what you already are. If you see yourself becoming a doctor or dentist, then you will become it. Seeing is believing and by believing that you will be what you see, then you will become it.

One of my favorite world records is one where a woman has really long finder nails.
I am fascinated by this world record, because her nails are incredibly long and I do not know how she can do regular daily things with those finger nails.

I would like to break a world record but do not know which one yet. I would like to break a world record because I would want to see how far I can go and be able to say that I broke a record.

“My basic principle is that you don’t make decisions because they are easy; you don’t make them because they are cheap; you don’t make them because they’re popular; you make them because they’re right.”

Theodore Hesburgh (former president of Notre Dame)

Reflection: Making a decision is a big part of life. We make decisions everyday. Our decisions represent who we are and what kind of person we are. If we makes decisions because we feel like we have to then we are wrong. Making decisions is what is right.

“It is our duty to concentrate all our influence to make popular that which is sound and good, and unpopular that which is unsound”
(not good)
Joseph Smith

Reflection: I think he means that we should influence other people to do good and not to do bad. If a person is doing bad and you know they are but they do not know, then it is your duty to influence them to do what is right and good.
