Duties and Responsibilities: Taking
medical histories and recording vital signs, explaining treatment procedures to
patients, preparing patients for examination, and assisting the physician
during the examination.
Salary: $32,754
Education: The minimum education for a medical
assistant is a high school diploma. But some states require training or examinations
for those who do clinical work, and some employers prefer assistants with
training certification.
Reflection:
I would like to become one, because I’ve always been interested in them.
I’ve always wanted to become one because I think what they do is very helpful.
They not only help the patient but also the doctor because they take some
stress off the doctor.
