1. Memorial Day
is a day on which those who died in active military service are remembered,
traditionally observed on May 30 but now officially observed on the last Monday
in May.
2. The purpose
of Memorial Day is to honor those who serve or have served for our country, and
for the good they’ve done. We are very proud of them and love them and respect
them very much.
3. Memorial
Day is on the last Monday of May.
4. Some ways
to show honor and respect on this day is simply putting up your American flag.
This year I will celebrate Memorial
Day with my family and cousins. My cousin is participating in the U.S. army, so
we will all be celebrating with her at home and thanking her for what she’s
done for us and our country.
